About Polka Dots
Polka Dots, Parachute Players’ inaugural show for very young audiences and young audiences with disabilities, premiered in May 2019 to outstanding reviews from young people, parents, guardians, and educators.
“Really great idea and we can’t wait to come to another show. Thank you so much for creating a place where my daughter can learn to appreciate arts, while being complete inclusive and adaptive to everyone who attends.”
– Parent of an Audience Member
“As a teacher it is exciting to see how children engage with others and I am able to use some of the same strategies in my classroom.”
–Special Educator, Edwin Pratt Early Learning Center
“The Parachute Players introduced new ways of communicating with each other. Teachers are able to reference how the Baker used noises and body language to communicate and every performer used their hands to communicate as well.”
