Shine in a comedy show fueled by your imagination! We’ll explore improv, physical comedy, and funny skits to grow our acting skills and gain confidence. Our professional teaching artists are ready to help your students grow in creativity, compassion, and courage while working to create an original 15 minute comedy showcase that is sure to have family and friends rolling in the aisles!

Join our Creative Adaptive Performance Ensemble as we work together on singing, dancing, and acting in this fun and collaborative class! Ensemble members will help choose songs, create unique characters, and learn choreography. The quarter wraps up with a community showcase, where we’ll share our musical creations!

Note: Students will be able to participate in this class through online zoom.

Join us as we explore epic songs from musicals set in the “Greatest City in the World” aka “NYC!”  What happens when the Newsies of New York meet the Revolutionaries of The Greatest City in the World? Which musical has the best villain? Our team of professional Teaching Artists will shine a light on your unique strengths as a performer and increase your confidence as a mover and a singer!

*Please note: the first session (January 22nd) falls on a full school day, so that class will start at 3:35pm and end at 5:05pm. All following sessions take place on early-release Wednesdays, 1:55-3:25pm.

Do you like being part of the action… off-stage? Join the creative team of Dandylyon Drama as we put on a Musical Comedy Showcase!  You get to jump in backstage and behind the scenes assisting in rehearsals, tech and the performance. Choose your own projects to support the production such as creating posters, programs, and props. Team members interested in running tech, supporting costumes, make-up or hair backstage during the performances will also be provided special training. Mandatory dates are when we are on stage in the theater, Friday March 14th 3:00pm-8:00pm

It’s your time to shine with musical theatre fan favorites! Dandylyon Drama Teaching Artists are excited to facilitate each performer’s growth in creativity, compassion, and courage as students center on performers’ ideas and strengths. Friends and family are invited to join us at our last class on 3/10 to enjoy what we’ve been practicing!

Learn theater etiquette, acting skills, and gain confidence! Culminates in a final performance on the SCC stage as part of Dandylyon Winter Musical Theatre Showcase on Friday, March 14, at 7:00pm.

This experience is specifically designed for homeschoolers to  explore the fundamentals of musical theater. Perform songs with fresh choreography that meets you at your level and vocal technique elevating your best sound. Teaching Artists will come with a musical number ready to learn and students will vote on the second performance piece. Songs will be chosen from favorite Disney Musicals and more! 

Culminates in a final performance on the SCC stage as part of Dandylyon’s Fall Comedy Showcase on Saturday, November 16, at 6:00pm.

Shine in this drama club where your imagination leads the way. Explore comedy, character, and movement as we visit many different moments in time – perhaps with a dragon and taco in tow! Our professional teaching artists are ready to help your students grow in creativity, compassion, and courage as we explore fun ideas inspired by Dragons Love Tacos 2! We can’t wait to invite friends and family to a 15 minute showcase on the last day featuring the hilarious adventures we create together.
